 III- QUOTA INFORMATION
 
  • Foreign candidates and Republic of Turkey (R.T.) candidates who have completed their education abroad will be accepted from the Foreign Quota
  • Candidates who have completed their education in Turkey and who are Turkish citizens must apply from the Domestic Quota

IV- STUDENT ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must meet the conditions marked for the type of quota they are applying for.

 
  Domestic Quota Quota Abroad
1. Graduated from Higher Education
Candidates who will apply to the Master's Programs are required to have completed their higher education in Turkey or abroad.


2. ALES
(The validity period of ALES Result Certificate is 5 years) Candidates who have completed their higher education in Turkey must have an ALES score of 70, which is the minimum score determined in at least one of the SAY, SÖZ or EA score types.
Doctorate / proficiency in art / specialization in medicine / specialization in dentistry / specialization in dentistry / specialization in veterinary medicine / specialization in pharmacy graduates are not required to take ALES and ALES score 70 is accepted from candidates with these degrees.

3. Foreign Language Proficiency
Candidates are required to have English language skills (YDS 80 points or an equivalent exam result).
The validity period of YDS and e-YDS Foreign Language Exams is 5 years. YÖKDİL Result Certificate is also valid for applications to Master's Programs with Thesis).
Those who have been educated in a country where the foreign language determined as the language of instruction is spoken as the mother tongue for at least the last three years, in secondary education institutions or higher education institutions attended by the citizens of that country and have completed their education in these institutions are exempt from the foreign language score requirement for application.
Candidates who do not have these documents can use the Turkish German University "Foreign Language Exam" result

4. Higher Education Graduation Grade
There is no minimum graduation grade for the application to take place.


5.     Qualifications     for     Graduate     Studies:     Professional Orientation
In order to enroll in the program, it is required to graduate from one of the following departments:
Departments of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, Economics, Economic History, International Relations, European Studies, Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology, Law, History, Cultural Sciences, Ethnology, Anthropology, Social Sciences, etc.
   

V. EVALUATION CRITERIA

The evaluation of applications is carried out according to the following distribution. In order to be accepted to the program, a minimum score of 70 (seventy) is required. The ALES equivalent score in the equivalency table of GRE and GMAT exams will be used in the evaluation.

After the evaluation of the applications, the results will be announced on https://sbe.tau.edu.tr/.

VI. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION
Applications        will         only        be        made        electronically        via        the        link https://obs.tau.edu.tr/oibs//ina_app/ between the specified dates.
Candidates are required to upload the information and documents required for the application to the system within the above-mentioned deadlines.
Applications by post, e-mail or in person will not be accepted.

e) Undergraduate Diploma or notarized copy
Candidates who continue their undergraduate education and therefore apply conditionally must submit a current student certificate indicating that they are in the last semester of their undergraduate education instead of a bachelor's degree.
Students who do not bring their diploma on the date of final registration will not be registered.






f) Transcript
Transcripts of candidates applying from abroad must be issued in English or German.
g) Foreign Language Certificate
English language skills (YDS, E-YDS or YÖKDİL 80 points or an equivalent exam result accepted by YÖK or Turkish German University foreign language exam result) are required for candidates.
(The validity period of Foreign Language Exams is 5 years. YDS or YÖKDİL Result Certificate is also valid for applications to Master's Programs with Thesis).

h) ALES:
Candidates applying from the domestic quota must submit the original ALES document with the "Result Document Control Code" or the original of the equivalent exam result document accepted by YÖK.

i) School Recognition Certificate: x
The "School Recognition Letter" to be obtained from the YÖK is mandatory for foreign applicants (including students with blue cards) and Turkish citizens who completed their education abroad.
Turkish national candidates can access the necessary information on whether their higher education institutions abroad are recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the school recognition letter via the e- government link.
Foreign applicants and students with blue cards can access the necessary information on whether the higher education institutions abroad are recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the school recognition letter via the YÖK link.
If the higher education institutions abroad are not recognized by YÖK, the information and processes required for the application can be accessed via the YÖK link.
   
 

VII. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION

  1. The original undergraduate diploma or the graduation certificate certified by the graduating university must be submitted. Candidates who graduated from higher education institutions abroad must submit their diploma or graduation certificate with a Turkish translation made by a sworn translator and certified by a notary or consulate.
  2. A notarized or certified copy of the transcript document showing the success grades of all courses taken during undergraduate education and the graduation grade point average. Candidates who graduated from higher education institutions abroad must submit their transcript documents with a Turkish translation made by a sworn translator and notarized or consulate certified and including the grade point average.
  3. Candidates applying from the domestic quota must submit the original ALES document with the "Result Document Control Code" or the original of the equivalent exam result document accepted by YÖK,
  4. The original YDS, E-YDS or YÖKDİL document with the "Result Document Control Code" or the original foreign language exam result document accepted as equivalent by YÖK,
  5. "School Recognition Letter" to be obtained from the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education for foreign applicants (including students with blue cards) and Turkish national applicants who completed their education abroad,
  6. It is sufficient to show the original identity card at registration,
  7. For foreign nationals -if any- a photocopy of the residence permit and a document showing the Foreign National NumbeR
  1. For foreign nationals, a photocopy of the pages of the passport showing identity information and validity period

  3. A military service status certificate showing that the candidates of Turkish nationality are not related to military service.
  4. For candidates of Turkish nationality who are research assistants at our university or other universities, an official document from their institutions.

IMPORTANT: Candidates should not be enrolled in more than one graduate program (at the same time) at the time of registration. (In accordance with Article 35 (6) of the Higher Education Council of Higher Education Regulation dated April 20, 2016) Candidates in such a situation can only enroll in our Graduate School if they deregister from the other higher education institution.

NOTE: Those who make false/incorrect statements and those whose documents are incomplete or falsified will not be registered, and even if they are registered, their registration will be canceled.
